Digital Storytelling Workshop – Portland Community Media - REVISED SCHEDULE!

If you have a group of engaged staff or volunteers interested in taking media to the next level, PCM offers training opportunities to develop your own media.

We never outgrow our need for storytelling. In the digital age, with its emphasis on passive entertainment, many feel modern society is losing the art of telling stories. Human beings have always told stories using whatever technology was available; cave drawing, quill pen, printing press. Learn to use photos, scanned images, voiceover, music and software (Final Cut Pro, Photoshop) to tell your story.

Prerequisite: Empowering Organizations and basic knowledge of Mac OSX. Must be staff or volunteer from a nonprofit organization.

Certification type: MacBook Pro

Instructor - TBA
