Conflict Resolution and Mediation Training

Resolutions Northwest, one of the largest community mediation centers in the country, is accepting applications and registrations our annual Basic Mediation Training.

This 38-hour training and covers all basic dimensions of mediation work. It is designed for people who are committed to solving conflict throughout their workplaces, organizations, and community. The training is designed with energizing activities to learn and practice conflict resolution tools, including conflict theory, mediation stages, empathic listening, facilitating negotiations, cross-cultural conflict management and more!

Volunteers needed for fundraiser event

Bola Moyo is having our annual fundraiser event at Someday Lounge on Wednesday 9th December. We are looking for volunteers to help out both before and during the event. The event includes music by Sean Flinn and Amy Seeley, which you will get to enjoy free of charge as a volunteer! You can find out more about Bola Moyo on our website, www.bola-moyo.org.

We need volunteers for the following tasks:

Before the event: *Putting up posters around Portland(someone with a car would be great! This will probably be later this week or next week, and then in the first week of Dec) *Someone with Illustrator skills to assist in creating donation cards
