Holiday Concert-Portland Symphonic Choir Presents-WINTERSONG!

WINTERSONG!

A unique, multi-cultural, and family friendly holiday concert will be held on Saturday, Dec 12, at 7:30pm, and again, on Sunday, Dec 13, at 2:30pm at St. Mary's Cathederal.

Come enjoy the sounds of the season with this special program featuring carols from around the world. Music of Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, and Solstice including works such as, "Ozi Vezimrat Yah," "O Come all Ye Faithful," "A little Christmas Music," "Joy to the World," and "Silent Night," with Brass Ensemble, Harp, and a special performance, by award winning Rex Putnam High School Choir.

Stewardship Saturdays at Tryon Creek

Stewardship Saturdays

Every second and fourth Saturday of the month 9:00am to 12:00pm

Second Saturdays are always ivy pulls and fourth Saturdays may be trail maintenance during the fall and winter.

Ivy pulls: 

Pull together to remove invasive English ivy and to protect our forest.  Ivy out-competes our native plants, takes over the forest floor, shades out trees and ruins precious habitat.

Trail Maintenance:

Work with other volunteers to maintain trails and keep them safe and clean. Projects may include digging out paths for rain water, spreading gravel and clearing culverts.

NW Documentary presents The Long Life of a Short Film

You've finished your film, now what? Learn from the experience of filmmaker Andy Blubaugh, as he shares his insights on festivals, marketing, sales, and distribution for the short film.

Andy's autobiographical short films have screened at Sundance, Ann Arbor, and Portland International Film Festival. He has served as the Associate Director of the Portland Documentary and Experimental Film Festival as Coordinator of the Northwest Film & Video Festival.

Filmmaker magazine called him one of "25 New Faces of Independent Film" and we agree.

Cafe au Play Holiday Tree Sale

Cafe au Play is having it's second annual Jingle Mingle Holiday Tree Sale at Tabor Commons, 57th and SE Division.  We will be open each weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas, 10 am - 7 pm.

Select from a variety of fresh cut trees from Molalla's Timber Ridge Tree Farm.  Enjoy hot beverages, delicious homemade baked goods, and shop for unique gifts made by local artisans.

This festive, family-friendly event is a great opportunity to see the progress we've made at Tabor Commons and find your perfect tree. Proceeds from the sale will go towards Cafe au Play start-up funds.

The file dimensions are 36" W, 52 1/2" H, 22" D. The color is blue.
