PORTLAND, OR  - “Want to make a million selling violent video games to kids? Go for it. Want to make a million helping cure kids of cancer? You’re labeled a parasite. We allow people to make huge profits doing any number of things that will hurt the poor, but we want to crucify anyone who wants to make money helping them.” asserts Dan Pallotta, nonprofit leader, business owner and author of Uncharitable: How Restraints on Nonprofits Undermine Their Potential.

Fwd: Tell Chevron to Clean Up Its Toxic Mess in Ecuador

Hi all.I don't usually forward emails like this, but I have seen this horrific situation with my own eyes, having traveled to Ecuador several times over the last five years leading teams of high school students with The Pangaea Project to learn about Chevron's toxic legacy in the Amazon rainforest.  Please take 30 seconds to sign this petition, and if you want to learn more about the situation in the Ecuadorian Amazon, check out www.amazonwatch.org.  Thanks
