Join the Portland Water Bureau and the Columbia Slough Watershed Council for Cycle the Well Field - a guided 16-mile bicycle tour through Portland's Groundwater Protection Area located in the Columbia Slough Watershed. We'll make several stops to learn the mysteries of groundwater and how to protect this important groundwater resource. The course is approximately 16 miles long, over relatively flat terrain, at a slow/moderate pace. FREE. Light refreshments will be provided. For ages 12 and up. Unpacking: Celebrate a Year of Rediscovery Annual Gala

On Saturday, July 12th, the streets around the Museum will be closed for a benefit gala: an evening of fine dining, auction, and live music. Volunteers are needed to assist with all levels of the festivities, including, but not limited to: check-in, auction, gallery security, hosting, and Museum information. Join the Museum’s staff and board in celebration of the first anniversary of the Museum’s move to its new location and the release of the first publication about the Museum’s collection, titled Unpacking the Collection.
