Learn about the benefits of veganic gardening at this presentation and potluck dinner.

Join Jill Schatz, a past president of the Hardy Plant Society, and Peter Spendelow, Ph.D., an environmental expert, for an informative discussion on February 21 about the benefits of veganic gardening and how you can get started in your own backyard.

What is veganic gardening? It is gardening without the use of manure and slaughterhouse byproducts. More commonly practiced in Europe and Canada, veganic gardening is now gaining popularity in the United States because of public concern over e-Coli contamination, mad cow disease, etc.
