Portland Education Summit: April 10th & 12th, 2010

“UNITING FOR EXCELLENCE AND EQUITY IN EDUCATION:

MAKING PORTLAND THE CITY THAT LEARNS”

Portland Education Summit

If Portland is to be a great city, "sustainability" must go beyond our infrastructure, transit and green space. It must be the cornerstone of our education and workforce development system. We want to be known not just as the "greenest" city in America, but the most educated. To create a sustainable system of education, we must work together both inside--and outside the classroom to keep our kids in school.

Portland needs a bold, strategic and engaging plan to support and promote education success for individuals and families.
