Democracy Saturday

Hello, My name is Victor and I work for Oregon Action. I want to ask you to join me this summer and get involved with us.

We are taking on a healthcare centered Civic Engagement campaign in underserved communities in NE Portland. This campaign is unique compared to typical get out the vote efforts in that we are not only registering voters and encouraging them to get out to vote but we are engaging them to get involved in the civic process by maintaining contact with them throughout the election season and educating them about ballot issues and candidates and relating how their decisions to vote have a greater impact on the power structure of our political system.
