Dougy Center Benefit: Laugh, Dance, Sing

On August 29th, four of Portland's finest children's performers will come together to entertain families and help raise money for the Dougy Center. Rick Huddle (children's comedian), Obo Addy (African musician), Albert Alter (physical comedian), and Curt Carlyle (juggler) have joined forces for this one-time performance.

Funds will be used to help in re-construction of the Dougy Center. Founded in 1983, The Dougy Center serves 400 children and 275 adult family members each month with peer support groups in Portland, Hillsboro and Canby. The Dougy Center does not charge for its services, and relies solely on donations from individuals, corporations and foundations.

Eastminster Presbyterian Church is inviting everyone to an Ice Cream Social and Community Gathering on August 26, 5-8 p.m. at Eastminster's Community Hall, 12505 NE Halsey Street in east Portland.
