The free Conference will be held Saturday, October 16 at Parkrose High School; interpreters, childcare, a light breakfast, and lunch are included.

Organized by Community & Parents for Public Schools (CPPS) with support from Multnomah County school districts, the Conference engages parents, families and community members to learn effective strategies for supporting their students, school, and district.

Packwood On Partisanship with Bob Packwood

Excessive partisanship, however, can undermine effective lawmak¬ing and interfere with the Legislature's ability to func¬tion. In today's political climate, excessive partisanship too often seems the rule rather than the exception - but this was not always the case.
