Pathfinder Academy is an accredited community-based school that contracts with local school districts to provide services to pregnant and parenting youth ages 14-20. Pathfinder Academy is opening in East Multnomah County and is hiring for a part time ESOL endorsed teacher

Part time ESOL certified instructor:

• BA in Education or related field

• High school teaching certification with Oregon Department of Education

• ESOL Endorsed

• Experience or knowledge of teen parent issues and barriers

Development Opportunities at William Temple House

William Temple House, a nonprofit mental health counseling and emergency social services agency that has served Portland's working poor since 1965, has two Development opportunities: a half-time Development Associate and a Contract Writer.

The DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE is an integral part of William Temple House’s development team and often is a first line of contact for donors, prospects and volunteers. The River Network website currently sits on three platforms. Some pages live on a deprecated, partly functional ColdFusion site. The main site was custom-designed and uses Smarty templates on PHP. New development occurs in the open-source Drupal content management system. The goal of this project is to redesign the home page using Drupal, to install several necessary modules and to redesign a resource library and donation form.

Primary tasks:

•Install and configure Google Analytics module to enable website analytics

•Install and configure Captcha module to protect forms

•Work with Website development team to redesign front page, main site and navigation

•Work with Web Content Transcriber to ensure smooth transition to new site

Eligibility Specialist for Portland Partners Reentry Initiative Team

Volunteers of America Oregon is seeking a full-time Eligibility Specialist to work with the Portland Partners Reentry Initiative (PPRI) team.

This position will be responsible for scheduling and delivering PPRI orientations inside Oregon's correctional facilities, tracking inmates, maintaining and updating tracking database and participant files, and other duties. The successful applicant will have a bachelor's in human services or a relevant combination of education and experience in social services.

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working with offenders and workforce development.

This position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Unpacking: Celebrate a Year of Rediscovery Annual Gala

On Saturday, July 12th, the streets around the Museum will be closed for a benefit gala featuring an evening of fine dining, auction and live music. Volunteers are needed to assist with all levels of the festivities, including, but not limited to: check-in, auction, gallery security, hosting and Museum information. Join the Museum’s staff and board in celebration of the first anniversary of the Museum’s move to its new location and the release of the first publication about the Museum’s collection, titled Unpacking the Collection.
