Everyday Courage Workshop

A one day, “Expressive Arts,” workshop for high school students of all abilities. Using a mixture of the expressive arts, students will participate together in theatrical role play, music, movement and rhythm, as well as painting and collaging their own set designs. Led by Cindy Hawkins of the, ”Young Players,” youth of all abilities will come together and take an artistic journey of the imagination, sharing and communicating the COURAGE it takes, EVERY DAY to maneuver through teen-hood. Trail Blazers Street Jam provides a fun-filled weekend for basketball players and festival-goers of all ages through the celebration of athleticism, community involvement and Oregon's rich basketball heritage! From recreational players to elite competitors, Trail Blazers Street Jam has games for all ages and abilities. This event is July 18-20 at the Rose Garden and benefits Special Olympics Oregon. We need volunteers to help with scoring or timing for the 3-on-3 games. This is a great opportunity for groups, families or single volunteers! All volunteers receive a t-shirt. Training is provided.
