Parent Child Workshop: Bugs and Insects

WEDNESDAY, August 6, 5:30-7:00 Growing Gardens is offering a workshop on Bugs and Insects as part of our Parent Child Workshop series.

Parent Child Workshops are designed to spark interest in gardening for children aged 6 to 12 while providing fun ways for parents (aunts, uncles, guardians, grandparents, neighbors) and children to grow gardens together.

In this workshop, we will discover just what makes an insect an insect and why they are important in our gardens. We will learn through playing games, singing songs, and going on a schoolyard safari to find and meet common bugs and insects.

Q & A

Donated event space

Anybody get good deals on event space for about 200 people? We'd like to hold our event somewhere fairly nice if possible. Last year we had it at the Melody Ballroom (downstairs) which was perfect in all ways except for the cost. Thanks for any advice. Stephanie
