Community Open House: Mt. Tabor Central Yard & Nursery draft designs on view, August 2

The public is invited to view the draft designs for a future new facility at Portland Park & Recreation’s Mt. Tabor Central Yard & Nursery at a community open house at the Yard from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 2. A special question and answer session from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. will give the public the opportunity to ask questions directly of the design firm Opsis Architecture.

A planning process is underway to design a new facility at Mt. Tabor, the central dispatch and work area for PP&R’s maintenance and horticulture activities, that will provide a safe and efficient work environment, use sustainable practices and green buildings, honor the history of the site, and connect the facility to the park and neighborhood.
