What’s In It For You?

As a SUN AmeriCorps member with Impact Northwest, you'll serve full time at one Portland Public School as part of the SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) program.  You'll complete an 11.5-month AmeriCorps term with a minimum of 1,700 hours of service.  In exchange, you’ll receive:* A living allowance of up to $11,400 divided over your term of service (paid monthly)* An education award of $4,725 upon successful completion of your term of service* Loan forbearance on federally subsidized student loans during your term of service * Basic health insurance* Childcare assistance (if eligible)*
