Joanna Macy workshop July 5-10

Living Earth is hosting a residential workshop July 5-10 with Joanna Macy, one of the most revered and influential ecological activists of our time.  More information and registration are online at www.LivingEarthGatherings.org.   

This is a rare opportunity to spend five days at Still Meadow Retreat Center with an exceptional teacher. Joanna Macy, PhD, is a Buddhist scholar, systems theorist, deep ecologist, and passionate activist for ecological consciousness. A fiery-hearted 80-year-old, she is skillful, brilliant, and warm, and her four+ decades of teaching and activism have taken her to every continent on our beautiful Earth.

 Joanna is seasoned and wise, buoyant and creative, radical and profound, challenging us to see the unprecedented challenges facing our planet in our time as an opportunity to participate in a radical shift in awareness and ways in which we conduct human affairs. The chance to spend extended time with a teacher of Joanna’s stature is a boon, whether our passion is environmental defense, social justice, sustainability and peace, or spiritual awareness.
