Affordable Volunteer Management Workshop--DVPA--$30

The Directors of Volunteer Programs Association (DVPA) would like to invite you to our upcoming workshop:

Managing and Marketing Your Volunteer Program in a New Economy

When:  Thursday, June 4th from 12:30pm to 5:00pm

Where:  Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital (Conference Room 3C), 2211 NE 139th St, Vancouver, Washington

Register by Friday, May 22nd to save on this affordable workshop!  Registration after 5/22, including at the door, is $30.  The DVPA can accept cash, check (to “DVPA”) or a billing request.

The workshop will include a plenary session with nationally known presenter Nancy Gaston on topics including: volunteer assessment, policy violations, volunteer contracts, defensible process and volunteer dismissal.  Attendees will leave with resources and a better understanding of a necessary evil: risk management. Each participant will attend one session of each on Effective Electronic Outreach and Creating a Strong Marketing Campaign.  The workshop is a great opportunity to network while learning new skills to effectively and efficiently improve your program!
