position summary:

Immediate opening. Seek self-starter to jump into non-profit that is 23 years old, has three part time employees, 14 volunteers, and serves chronically mentally ill with a research proven, peer-directed lunch and activities program. Desire a person that can switch hats in small NE Portland office environment. QuickBook experience to take on A/R, A/P, reports, bank reconciliation. Excellent Microsoft Office skills needed, and experience with Publisher preferred. You will report to the part-time, volunteer Executive Director and prepare reports for the Board of Directors and others. Prefer a problem solver, and a sleeves rolled-up, caring person.

Good writing skills desired, fund-raising event experience would be great. Interest in our mission to empower and work as a peer with those with chronic mental illness a plus. Position is 24 hours per week, with limited benefits. If you enjoy building success into our own future and that of our clients, this is an opportunity.

Salary / Pay Rate:$13.50-$14.25/hour
