Volunteer for the Great Urban Race - June 6th!

The Great Urban Race is coming to Portland Saturday, June 6th. This event is put on by a national event company and teams of two sign up for a city-wide challenge, solving 12 clues along the way.

Schoolhouse Supplies - the Free Store for Teachers, has been selected as the featured nonprofit with proceeds from ticket sales coming back to us and one of the clues will ask teams to find school supplies to donate. You can see more information at www.greaturbanrace.com.

As a beneficiary, we are asked to help recruit volunteers to help with registration, finish line checkout, and clue judges. We’ll need 15 volunteers for each shift, 10am-1pm and 1-5pm. We’re looking for friendly and outgoing folks who will enjoy interacting with the race participants. You are welcome to invite friends or family members who may enjoy the event as well.
