Childcare & Transportation Volunteers Needed

On June 8th and 9th from 9am-12pm Impact NW’s Healthy Start and Parent Child Development programs are hosting a free infant CPR/First Aid training for the families we serve. We are looking for volunteers to provide childcare and transportation for this event. It will be held at the Brentwood-Darlington Community Center at 7211 SE 62nd Ave, Portland, OR 97206. Impact NW’s Parent Child Development Services and Healthy Start programs are founded on the fundamental principle that parents are their children’s first and most influential teachers. The programs works with parents of children ages 0-5 in support of developing strong, nurturing families and healthy, thriving children through intensive home visiting services, parenting education, assessment and referral.

If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please contact Jill Morrow, Community Involvement Supervisor at Impact NW, 503-988-4996 x265 or [email protected].

Impact NW’s mission is to help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and to prevent and alleviate the effects of poverty.
