| position summary: | Do you love yoga? Want to help share yoga with homeless youth? Street yoga is a non-profit organization that supports homeless youth and youth at risk of homelessness with yoga and wellness classes. Responsibilities include: interviewing, supporting and organizing volunteers, developing curriculum, teaching yoga and managing program evaluations. Facilitate peer support meetings. Attend all Street Yoga Teacher training workshops and any professional development opportunities offered throughout the year. Participate in wellness workshops. This is a part-time, eleven month position through the OSSC AmeriCorps program. We are looking for someone to serve with us from 08/24/2009 - 07/15/2010. The application deadline is 07/10/2009. | Salary / Pay Rate: | education award of $2,362.50 and a taxable monthly stipend of $518 |

| Qualifications: | Street Yoga is looking for a certified yoga teacher with a strong interest in recruiting and supporting volunteers and curriculum development. We are also looking for someone who has experience with survey analysis. |
