Volunteer Teacher for Computer Classes!!

Do you know how to use a computer? Do you speak English and some Spanish? Are you interested in teaching to fight for social justice and workers rights?

Then come volunteer as a teacher for VOZ Workers' Rights Education Project's Computer Classes. In line with our mission, the Computer Classes empower immigrants and day laborers to gain control over their working conditions by providing classes on basic computer skills, using the internet to search for jobs, setting up email accounts, and writing resumes. Volunteers will help develop lesson plans, shape our curriculum, and teach classes once or twice a week.

These skills are extremely important to the Portland day labor community and we need teachers who are committed to making these classes happen!

Please contact VOZ's Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] if you are interested in applying for this volunteer position.

Check out our website at www.portlandvoz.org for more information regarding VOZ and its many other volunteer opportunities.
