Free Water to the Weather Workshops

Spring means gardening! Whether you’re planting flowers or vegetables, it’s likely you want a healthy-looking lawn or garden. As we come into summer, you may be trying to balance your concern about water use with your desire for a healthy landscape. Reduce non-point source pollution, unnecessary water use, and wasted fertilizer.

Community Energy Project is offering two free workshops on how to be “water wise” this spring and summer in regards to outdoor watering. Learn how much water REALLY needs to go on your plants, and how to adjust your watering needs based on changes in the weather. Qualified participants receive a kit of free materials – including rain gauges, a soil probe, bucket, and more.

Thursday June 11th from 6:00-8:00pm at Community Energy Project (422 NE Alberta St, Portland)

Thursday June 27th from 1:00-2:00pm at Portland Nursery (5050 SE Stark St, Portland)

To register, please call 503.284.6827 x109 or email [email protected]  (please include your name and how you heard about us!)
