Bilingual Case Manager � Housing and Support Services

Description: Cascade AIDS Project (CAP) is the leading provider of HIV prevention, education, housing, advocacy and support services in Oregon and Southwest Washington. We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Case Manager to works to provide high-quality, coordinated, strengths-based housing case management and social services consistent with the agency�s mission. The incumbent works in Cascade AIDS Project�s Supportive Housing Programs to provide services to both monolingual Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients. The work includes assessing clients� medical needs, providing home-based housing case management, goal planning, information and referral services, advocacy with and on behalf of clients, and eviction prevention for individuals and families. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Housing and Support Services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor�s Degree in human/social services field (social work, public or community health, psychology) or related field or equivalent experience A minimum of one year experience providing case management (or similar) services Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and working knowledge of the internet Excellent written and oral communication skills Successful experience working with ethnic, racial, economic and sexually diverse populations and persons who have experienced homelessness, persons with a mental illness and/or substance addiction Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with community stakeholders Good organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with accountability Able to travel throughout the service area on a frequent basis Available to work evenings and weekends Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters degree in human/social services field (social work, public or community health, psychology) or related field Knowledge of housing laws and local housing resources Previous experience working with people living with HIV

Salary / Pay Rate:$28,869 - $36,957 annually, depending on experience; employer-paid health, dental, vision, long-term disability and life insurance; 401(k) retirement plan with generous employer matching contribution, 125C cafeteria savings plan; generous vacation and health leave benefits.
