Please visit our website to found out more: www.educateya.org We have an immediate position open: Latino Programs Coordinator (part-time) DESCRIPTION: *Develop and run our four core programs *Contact, utilize, and recruit volunteers *Act as liaison between communities *Fundraising *Attend Board Meetings/ take minutes *Outreach We are a small grassroots organization with a tiny staff. These are only a sample of the different roles our Latino Programs Coordinator must take on. This position is part-time, with the potential for more. We value and encourage diversity. | Required Skills and Abilities: | REQUIREMENTS: * MUST BE BILINGUAL (Spanish/English) and bicultural. Must be proficient in and comfortable speaking, writing, reading, etc. both languages. *Must be self-motivated. Willing to use own creativity and experience to further position. *Must be familiar with computers: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. (Can train) *Familiarity with an office setting *Good communication skills *Comfort working with many different types of people from different cultures. *Responsible, organized, and punctual *Enthusiastic and energetic |
