Summer Open Studios ar Skill Share Studio

Hello friends!We have exciting news for you - we've changed our name - Skill Share Studio should say a bit more about who we are and what we do.

We also have a new website, equipped with a calendar so that you can stay up-to-date on our happenings  at www.skillsharestudio.org.

We are happy to announce new summer Open Studios! On Tuesday evenings 7-9pm, and Wednesdays and Thursdays 1-3pm we will be opening our doors for you to come and make use of our space and tools. As always we have our pottery wheel and lots of ceramic tools, and we will also be putting to work our sewing machines, collage materials and all kinds of other creative implements.  Come on by and share in the fun!

On July 5th from 3-5 we will be hosting a figure drawing group where participants take turns modeling; nudity is encouraged but not required. This is a body-positive group that is founded on the common love of art and diversity. Special attention is given to insure that this is a safe and supportive environment. This is an RSVP-only event.

We request a donation of $5-$10 per person for our open studios and other events. This goes to support the space and our goals of providing accessible education and creative collaboration opportunities. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Work trade opportunities are available and we are looking for volunteers to host open studios. Get in touch if you can help!
