position summary:

The Family Services Coordinator, under general direction, manages family and community services for the Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Coordinates, oversees, and develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations in the areas of family and community services. Provides oversight of child abuse and neglect procedures. Collaborates with applicable college employees and external liaisons, manages department budget and provides direct supervision of department employees. Works independently and in a team environment to support the vision, mission and goals of the College and the Child Development and Family Support programs. This is a grant-funded position contingent upon continued funding.

Salary / Pay Rate:The hiring range is $177.04 to $187.92 per day. Position subject to budget consideration and approval.
Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field * Three to five years of direct service experience with families, including two years of supervisory experience At the College's discretion, additional qualifying education/experience may substitute for education/experience, on a year for year basis * Experience working with diverse backgrounds of the College's community, students and employees; demonstrated commitment to promoting access and * Current driver's license, insurance, and access to a reliable automobile during work hours for transportation to off-campus sites
