Bus Driver

Bus Driver—Neighborhood House Southwest RideAbout Shuttle: Part time, non-exempt status. .5 FTE. Starting Pay Range: $10.25-$12.20/hr. Essential responsibilities include safe driving using all safe-driving procedures as outlined by the Ride Connection, ODOT, and Fed. Dept. of Transportation regulations. Drive routes on schedule. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections. Monitor the fluids in the bus. Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manor. Collect information and maintain data base for Southwest RideAbout Shuttle.

Develop a positive and friendly relationship with riders. Assist in maintaining a safe and friendly atmosphere on the bus. Interact appropriately with seniors, people with disabilties, and their caregivers. Keep vehicle clean inside and out. Perform other duties as assigned. Must have valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, 5 years driving history, be able to drive other agency vehicles and insurable by the agency.
