| position summary: | This position will provide support to programs providing safe secure environments to traumatized youth referred by Oregon DHS. This position provides a great opportunity to build a contact base and gain experience while making a positive impact on the community. |
| Salary / Pay Rate: | $1034.00 monthly stipend for 11 months, $4,725.00 educational award, health insurance,student loan forebearance, child-care supplement, free training |
| Required Skills and Abilities: | leadership skills,public speaking, volunteer recruitment,facilitation skills, able to train, supportive of AmeriCorp and Host site mission and values,fund-raising development and event planning. |
| Qualifications: | The chosen applicant will assist with volunteer recruitment, training, support and recognition in support of existing Chehalem Youth & Family Services (Host Site)programs, facilitate expansion of the TeenScreen Program (mental health screening for teens, give presentations to community groups, and assist in the development and planning of local events related to CYFS goals. |
