Girls Inc. Camping Volunteers Needed

Join Girls Inc. girls and staff for a fun-filled camping retreat!

Girls Inc. of NW Oregon is taking a group of girls camping for one night at Silver Falls State Park to bask in the beauty of the waterfalls and learn a thing or two about camping!

Hosted by Girls Inc., the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, partnered with the Friends of Tryon Creek State Park and REI, you will have the opportunity to hike, find out about outdoor survival, and learn a little about cooking outdoors. Each volunteer will be a 'den mother' for their 'pack' of two girls. All transportation, food and supplies are provided.

9:30 am Saturday, August 22nd & returning 3:30 pm Sunday, August 23rd.

Required volunteer orientation & training Tuesday, August 18th 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

Eligibility Requirements: •Be a female •Be at least 21 years of age •Have a desire to work with youth •Complete the Girls Inc. screening process with approval •Attend volunteer orientation & training
