TACS 2009 - 2010 Nonprofit Training Series Reminder

Through the following peer networks, nonprofit staff, volunteers, board members, consultants, and professionals meet monthly to receive updates, solve problems, share best practices, and offer each other peer support.

Each year long series is designed to encompass the most relevant topics facing the sector. Sign up for a Season Pass or just come to the sessions that interest you.

• Diversity Leaders Network * Wednesdays * 8:00 - 10:00 am

  From its inception, Diversity Leaders Network has been rooted in the understanding that diversity among board members, staff, and volunteers is challenging and requires sustained effort. TACS has developed a curriculum that reflects emerging challenges, such as cultural barriers created by class and privilege, the impact of racial, gender, and sexual orientation and other differences in supervision and performance evaluation in the workplace.

• Executive Directors Network * Wednesdays * 8:00 - 10:00 am

  Using your feedback and our knowledge of the sector, TACS has developed a curriculum full of tools you need to position your organization for success. By participating in the series, you will gain the knowledge you need to build a healthy and adaptable nonprofit.

• Nonprofit Board Network * Tuesdays * 5:00 - 7:00 pm

  Help your board really make a difference for your nonprofit! Seize this monthly networking opportunity to build skills, strengthen leadership, and increase board effectiveness. Top experts in governance, board structure, strategic planning, and fundraising will share their expertise. Relax, enjoy some pizza, share experiences, and learn!

• Nonprofit Fiscal Managers Association * Thursdays * 7:30 - 9:30 am

  Using your feedback and our knowledge of the sector, TACS has developed a curriculum full of tools you need to stay up to date on nonprofit financial management challenges and related legal and compliance issues. By participating in the series, you’ll gain the knowledge and resources you need to keep your nonprofit on track.
