Cooperative Economics: Presentation, Potluck and Forum

Cooperative Economics: presented by Common Good Finance and The Alberta Coop

Come one, come all! Let us start a better bank together! Common Good Finance is working to start democratically run, socially responsible, common good banks in Portland, and around the country.

This month we are teaming up with one of our local partners, The Alberta Coop for Cooperative Economics! Please join us Thursday, July 23rd from 6:00-8:30 for a community potluck, presentation and open forum at The Lotus Seed Center (4635 NE 9th Avenue Portland, OR 97211). We will be giving a short presentation, showing a video and talking about how we can work together to realize common good banks in our communities as soon as possible.

We have had an exciting summer thus far, gaining partnerships with for-profits and non-profits such as The Alberta Coop, The Sustainable Business Network of Portland and Paloma Clothing. To date we have over 350 sign-ups in Oregon and Washington and nearly 1900 around the world to date.

We want to continue to get to know the supporters within our community, and give you a chance to get to know us and Common Good Finance better too! We hope to see you soon!

Sincerely, Blake, Jim, Julian, Manuel and Stephanie
