First Aid Volunteer Needed!

The Columbia Slough Watershed Council needs your help for our 15th Annual Columbia Slough Regatta on Sunday, July 26th, 2009!  This annual celebration of the slough is the largest one-day paddle in Oregon.

After reviewing the weather report for July, 26th (possibly 100 degrees!) it was decided that we should have a first aid/ CPR person on call.  We are looking for someone with a valid First Aid / CPR certification who would like to volunteer their time from 10:30am – 1:15pm making sure that all of our guests at the Regatta are safe and happy!  You will be provided with shade, snacks, delicious refreshments and a fabulous free t-shirt!

The Regatta will be held at Former St Johns Landfill Canoe Launch 9363 N Columbia Blvd. Portland, OR 97203.  This site is accessible by Trimet line 16.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Haley at 503-956-8558 or [email protected].  This is going to be an awesome event that wouldn’t be possible without our fabulous volunteers.  Hope to hear from you soon!
