Mingle in Lents Park while Eating Ice-Cream

What:      Lents National Night Out Ice-Cream Social

When:     Tuesday, August 4th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Where:    Lents Park near the Gazebo (south of SE Holgate Street and west of SE 92nd Ave)

Why:        Mingling with friends while eating ice-cream, gathering goodies, & meeting police officers.

Notable: Free ice cream, goodies and lots of information.  Last year Mayor Adams and Tom Potter made a visit.    

PORTLAND – ROSE Community Development and Lents Neighborhood Association are hosting the Lents National Night Out Ice Cream Social.  National Night Out brings community members together, sending a message to criminals that neighborhoods are fighting back.   Come meet your fellow neighbors, police officers, and fireman!!  Enjoy FREE ice-cream (first come, first served) while mingling with various organizations: Wattles Boys & Girls Club, Tremont Evangelical Church, ROSE Community Development, Lents Neighborhood Association, Portland Development Commission, Neighborhood Response Team, Office of Neighborhood Involvement, and Portland Bureau of Transportation.  

This event will be held on Tuesday, August 4th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Lents Park near the Gazebo (south of SE Holgate Street and west of SE 92nd Ave).  Free event, open to the public.
