Homework Club Coordinator Needed

Volunteer Opportunity with Northwest Housing Alternatives

We are seeking a part-time volunteer to run a homework club for Springwater Commons, an affordable housing complex in SE Portland. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience organizing and implementing an after-school program, and would be great experience for anyone interested in youth development or education.

Homework club takes place Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3 pm-6 pm, and we ask that the volunteer can commit to running the program for at least a semester. Volunteers must be able to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, and have transportation to and from the site.
