OASIS Education Center, a nonprofit whose mission is enriching the lives of adults 50+, has an exciting opportunity for you. We are creating an innovative, new Public Relations Committee (PRC) this summer in order to increase the awareness of OASIS to the community.

Tasks would include: 1. Posting events to community calendars on the internet 2. Creating a schedule of when to send emails to friends of OASIS 3. Brainstorming new places to advertise for OASIS and events 4. Discussing Faces of OASIS: To whom do we mail this packet of information? 5. Personalizing e-blasts 6. Sending emails to members of the media who can communicate the importance of our programs 7. Any additional ideas you may have

There are some skills required as there will be computer operations.

Computer literacy is a strong plus. There is a marketing plan, so you need the ability to execute strategies laid out by it. Write, or collect and edit testimonials from members, volunteers, staff, teachers, etc. Bring great ideas and a willingness to try new things to make OASIS even better that it already is!

This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge of the internet, email, and advertising while working with a group of enthusiastic individuals to make OASIS even more prominent in your community. Your help is of the utmost importance.
