Block Party, workshops and more!

Looking forward to seeing you at the Skill Share Studio block party anniversary celebration this Friday, July 31st, 4-10pm! NE Rodney Avenue will be closed from Shaver St. to Failing St. Free mini-workshops as well as pottery wheels and clay will be offered, as well as live music (by Casey Neill, The Tumblers, Papa Coyote, & Cabbage), an art show, the City Repair Tea Horse, BBQ Picnic, stilters, live sketch gallery and more. Join us for fun and food- bring a plate to eat off of and a delicious dish to share!

Have you heard about our upcoming classes yet? In August we are offering a wide range of classes for adults and kids. Register by emailing [email protected]. *  Make a Sock Monkey - Sundays in August 2-5pm (9th-30th) $5-$25 includes materials. Come for two sessions and make a one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Adults 10 & up. *  Ceramics for Kids -  Four Tuesdays, Aug.4 - 25, 2-3:30pm. Children ages 4-10 learn wheel throwing, mask making, glazing and more! $80 per child or $75 each to sign up with a friend! *  Patchwork Pillows - Sat. Aug. 8th 2-5pm. Make a retro pillow with an easy sewing machine technique called Seminole Patchwork. $5-$25, bring fabric & sewing machine or use ours! * Open Studios - Every Tuesday 7-9pm and Wedsnesday 1-3pm. Come use our pottery wheel, clay, kiln, sewing machines and materials. All ages. * DIY Figure Drawing - Every 1st Sunday. participants take turns modeling. This is a body-positive group; nudity is encouraged. RSVP required.
