Cultivate your leadership skills Explore your strengths Build tools, techniques and a support

Who can benefit from "New Nonprofit Leaders BootCamp"? Is it you?

While nonprofit organizations run a gamut in size and shape, New Nonprofit Leaders can face similar experiences and challenges.   New leaders often learn in the school of experience. And, while you care deeply about the mission of your organization, you may have "come up through the ranks" and need new skills to meet the challenges of the new position.

You are faced with supervising people, maybe for the first time. Paid staff, volunteers, interns. Staffing for your organization may be varied. You need creative ways to manage. You have been handed administrative duties your background didn't prepare you for. The job description is long and multifaceted. You need support and encouragement as you learn to juggle. You need to work with, and manage, a board of directors. Your volunteer board has a strong investment in the mission of the organization. You want an engaged and motivated board that will work in partnership with you to build your organization. You are faced with constant changes in funding and want to build a sustainable organization. You wonder how to build systems that are flexible and how to expand your unrestricted funding.

As a new ED/Leader you are treading new ground. You bring optimism, energy and a new perspective. And yet there are new skills you need to work effectively in this setting. While much of what you will need to know will take time, patience, and experience, "New Nonprofit Leaders BootCamp" can help you hit the ground running as a new leader. Plus, you'll learn about work-life balance, develop a short-term plan of action and gain peer and professional support.   Boot Camp Topics include:

Your role as a leader Work/Life Balance Coaching and Mentoring: Two sides of one coin Raising resources including earned income And much, much more
