Driver position with Impact NW

We are looking for two motivated individuals to join our Senior department in the Transportation program. Position: Transportation Program AssistantEntry Wage: $10.18 to $11.33/hr2 positions – 1 full time and 1 part-timeJOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring the delivery of transportation and related services to help clients who are seniors and younger adults with disabilities remain as independent as possible.  Primary responsibilities includes driving and the scheduling and coordination of transportation for frail, low-income clients.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Any combination of experience and training that would likely meet the following requirements

High school degree or equivalent Valid Oregon drivers’ license and acceptable driving record (must comply with mandatory regulations). Minimum of six months experience providing information and coordination of services to frail, low-income seniors and/or younger adults with disabilities.   Knowledge of issues and concerns relevant to the seniors and younger adults with disabilities. Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Sensitivity and ability to relate to people from diverse lifestyles and cultures. Ability and willingness to work as a team member and support Impact NW's mission and goals. Ability to communicate effectively, both speaking and writing. Ability to effectively work within a strength-based, integrated family support service delivery model; Possess good organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple and varied tasks.
