Join a dedicated team of mental health and addiction professionals committed to Oregon Partnership’s mission to end substance abuse and suicide. The Crisis Line Intervention Specialist will answer calls to all four of our crisis lines: the Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Drug and Alcohol Helpline, Youthline and Linea de Ayuda (Spanish Alcohol and Drug Helpline).

Job Conditions: Job requires flexibility during peak times when hours may exceed 4 hours per day and/or 20 hours per week and occasional weekends or holidays. Occasional travel may be required. Salary / Pay Rate:DOE
Required Skills and Abilities:Answer incoming calls with compassion and respect. Provide referrals, information, brief counseling and crisis intervention to callers. Maintain current information on providers in resource database. Log information on all incoming calls. Flexibility to accept other duties as assigned or cover other shifts as needed. This position requires: empathy, enthusiasm, flexibility, versatility, ability to take direction, work without intense supervision and operate as a team player. Qualifications:BA/BS in psychology or related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dependable. Good organizational skills. Previous experience in crisis intervention required. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
