PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT needed for disabled adult.

The US Social Security Department and the Oregon State Department of Human Services Senior and Disabled Services Division partner to fund this program to help the disabled live productive lives.

Primary responsibilities:

Thorough housecleaning. Preparation of simple and nutritious vegetarian meals.

Required Qualifications: Kind, honest, hard worker. Knowledge of green cleaning and vegetarian nutrition. Non-smoker. Pet tolerant (cat).

Desired qualifications: Awareness about the necessary conditions for managing and living with mental illness (Bipolar Condition) and ability to help facilitate and maintain organized and stable living environment. Commitment to the philosophy that the disabled can live full and productive lives and have that right.

Job requires application through the Oregon Department of Human Services criminal background check.

Pay is $8.97 per hour. 5 hours per week (20 hours per month). Flexible schedule.
