Workshop to make your home more GREEN--Free for Clark County Residents

Save energy, save money and help the environment by making simple changes in your home

Green Home Auditing Workshop Saturday, October 17 2009, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. WSU Research Station 1919 NE 78th Street, Vancouver This workshop is free and open to all Clark County residents.

This winter, save money and protect our local resources by learning more about making your home making your home “green.” from the experts at Clark County, Clark Public Utilities, and the Watershed Stewards. This Saturday workshop will introduce the basics of green building and provide information on simple green building renovations for your home. We will also discuss rain barrels, rain gardens, and other improvements to your yard that will help control and use our rain resources, and we will talk about energy efficiency and solar power. You will leave the workshop with knowledge and resources to save money on your power and water bills this winter and for years to come.

Washington State University Clark County Extension and the Clark County Clean Water Program co-sponsor this workshop and others in a series of community workshops offered throughout the year.
