Career & Technical Ed Advocate

CLOSES 10/16/09. The youth Advocate provides academic tutoring and support to students enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) elective classes at this outer NE Portland high school. Keeping a computer lab open after school from 3:00 - 4:30, M-Th, provides CTE students with increased access to the technology they need to complete homework, research colleges, and prepare scholarship applications. The advocate also tracks student performance and attendance in order to provide targeted academic support and intervention to students at risk of not passing or graduating.
