Looking for a few good mentors...

Looking for a few good men and women who can spare 1 or 2 hours each week to mentor a young person.   NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE, Inc. offers volunteer opportunities in North Portland and Southwest Portland:

Be a Lunch Buddy to an elementary school student by having lunch together at school, talking, listening and sharing activities--and building a supportive relationship that contributes to improved self-esteem and social skills. Mentor a youth (ages 7 to 14) for a couple of hours on the weekend or after school by offering low or no-cost activities in the community--plus friendship, support and guidance.
