The 4th Annual Pangaea Project Final Celebration Friday, November 6, 6-9pm Melody Ballroom 615 SE Alder

Tickets available at www.thepangaeaproject.org

Come celebrate Portland's newest group of globally aware local leaders. Last April, eighteen low-income students from six Portland high schools began an eight-month journey that brought them across the globe to gain a global perspective on community leadership and social justice. After three months in Portland meeting with inspiring local leaders and participating in classroom trainings, field trips, service projects and team-building activities, the students boarded planes to either Thailand or Ecuador. They traveled far off the beaten path to learn about grassroots leadership and successful models of community organizing, and returned home to speak to hundreds of people at local high schools, community organizations, City Council and on radio shows.

The Pangaea staff, students, board of directors and volunteers warmly invite you to a special night of education, inspiration and celebration. Help us fill the room and show these bright, motivated and globally-minded youth that their voices do matter. Your attendance will help us grow our programs and serve even more students from across Portland in 2010.

In addition to hearing the students speak, please join us for a feast provided by Andina, Zaytoon, Vita Cafe, and St. Cupcake, and live music by the Brazilian bossanova band, Sambafeat. Enter the World's Best Raffle to win a massage-a-month for a year, an airline ticket, an Explore Oregon package, and other exciting prizes.

We encourage you to buy your tickets online for smoother entry the night of the event. We offer a sliding scale of $20 -50 per person, or you can purchase a table for your friends for $300. Tickets are available at www.thepangaeaproject.org
