Make a Difference: Register People to Vote and Get Paid Canvassing Opportunities

This January there is an election for tax fairness, making sure that corporations and the richest Oregonians pay their fair share. The Yes for Oregon campaign is hiring canvassers to register young people to vote. Since the last election, many people have moved or turned 18 and to make sure they can vote this January we need to re-register them.

Canvassers will go to campuses and out in the community to register young people to vote. The team of folks will travel to different campuses reaching as many people as possible and then will also work to find young people in the community during evenings and weekends.

The job will last approximately 4 weeks, paid hourly, a fun team environment, 40 hours a week.

Skills needed: personable, enthusiastic, willing to talk and approach people, can be on your feet for the entire day, care about the future of our state, and available days and evenings. Experience canvassing a plus.

Compensation: $10-12/hr for canvassers and $13/hr for crew leaders.
