A Homeless Family Warming Center is available.  The Center can accommodate up to 60 people.  Located near the 82nd Max station.

Who is eligible:

The warming center is open to families experiencing homelessness.  Should extra capacity exist, homeless single women will be served.

How to Access:

Warming Center is located at 1435 NE 81st St.  There is no pre-screening, guests can show up at 7pm for admittance. The Warming Center will be open 7pm - 7am, November 1st through March 2010.

If on public transit:

• The Blue, Red and Green Max and Bus line #72 stop at the 82nd Ave Max station. From there, you can walk one block west to NE 81st Ave and Halsey.

• Bus line #77 will drop you off near 81st Ave and Halsey.

Important Information:

• No pets or carts are permitted in the Warming Center. 

• The Warming Center is a non-smoking facility and there will not be breaks throughout the night.

• Once a guest leaves for the night, they will not be readmitted.
