Become a Mentor and Make an Impact

Impact Northwest Mentoring works with lower-income elementary students in Northeast and Southeast Portland who could use the help of someone like you to achieve in school, increase self-esteem and build positive relationships. A one-year minimum commitment is required. If mentoring a youth sounds like the volunteer experience you’ve been looking for, please read on to learn more about a particular youth in Portland who can truly benefit from the one on one attention and friendship of a mentor.

**7th grade girl wants a mentor - could it be you? She loves cooking and sports and has terrific potential. Student is African American and is in need of a caring adult who can provide structure and serve as a positive adult role model. The student would be mentored in outer SE Portland, please make contact if you are interested!
