Reggio Emilia inspired, Italian Preschool - Registration Deadline is December 4

The Italian School of Portland (La Scuola Italiana di Portland) offers Reggio Emilia inspired Preschool featuring instruction in Italian for children 3 through 5 years old. The winter term will begin on Monday, January 4, 2010.

WHY THIS PRESCHOOL? This is a very special opportunity to enroll your child in a small group environment (maximum 5 kids) that will be focused on developing social relationships and making connections to the world through language. Children will experience complete immersion in the Italian language and culture while participating in artistic expression, story time, reading, learning through exploration and active play.

WHEN: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30am to 12:30pm

WHERE: New Song Community Church - 2511 NE Martin Luther King Blvd.... A modern, secure, family friendly environment that is conveniently located just a few blocks north of the Broadway Bridge

Registration: $75 Tuition: $120 per week (12 hours of school weekly), payable in three month increments * January through March, $1,360, plus registration * April through mid-June, $1,160

Whether you are passing the Italian language to your children as part of their heritage, or simply wanting your children to experience a second or third language, this preschool will provide them with a foundation for lifelong learning in any language.
