GALA FUNDRAISING EVENT COORDINATORS NEEDED - RESUME BUILDER

GALA FUNDRAISING EVENT COORDINATOR AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - RESUME BUILDER

Coordinating and participating in fundraising events is a major component of development for non-profit organizations.

As a volunteer with Tualatin Riverkeepers you can learn to do the following:

·         Coordinate Silent & Live Auctions

·         Work with a professional Auctioneer

·         Coordinate leadership volunteers

Tualatin Riverkeepers needs leadership volunteers to coordinate the Green Heron Gala - Awards Dinner and Auction to be held April 24, 2010. The Green Heron Gala raises much needed funds to support Tualatin Riverkeepers programs like citizen advocacy, habitat restoration and trips and tours!  It is also an occasion to celebrate our success and acknowledge the contributions of others that are working to make the Tualatin River watershed a healthier place.

Volunteers are needed to fill the following position:

Silent Auction Coordinator

-          Follow up and confirm donations with donors.

-          Coordinate pick up of auction items with volunteers.

Volunteers will need to attend meetings between December and May – likely in the evening.  First meeting is Monday, December 7, 6:30 – 8:00 at TRK office on Main Street in downtown Tigard.  Most of the tasks can be done from home outside of the regular work day.  This is a fun group and a fun event.  Please join us.

Please contact Monica Smiley for more information.

Sincerely,

Monica Smiley
